Minimum Candidate Qualifications:

The candidate must have a minimum of:

5 years of experience in data architecture including mapping and managing internal and external data feeds.

5 years of experience designing and implementing data models and structures to ensure data is efficiently stored and accessible in the data warehouse.

3 years of experience documenting data architecture, processes, and solutions; ensuring clear reporting of design decisions and data flows.

Proof of eligibility to work in NYS.

A Bachelor’s Degree.

Job Description and Required Services:

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Analyze and understand business requirements to design effective data models.

Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify, source, and integrate both internal and external data into the architecture.

Design and implement data models and structures to ensure data is efficiently stored and accessible in the data warehouse.

Oversee data cleansing processes to ensure high-quality, consistent data across the system as program evolves from Pilot to each subsequent phase.

Optimize database and data architecture performance for scalability and speed.

Work closely with business heads, data engineers, and IT teams to ensure the architecture supports business needs and integrates with existing systems.

Document data architecture, processes, and solutions; ensure clear reporting of design decisions and data flows.

Ensure the architecture supports advanced analytics, reporting, and dashboarding requirements, enabling timely and accurate insights.

Conduct research and analysis of data at DFS, definitions and usage, system flows, challenges, and opportunities.

Collaborate with business users and business analysts to develop analytical strategies for implementation in various projects.

Develop documentation including data dictionaries, policies, and procedures.

Assist with identification, documentation and management of any data quality, integrity and availability issues.

Other duties as assigned.

In addition, the candidate must possess the following abilities:

Develop metrics and reports.

Data analysis.

Data visualization.

In depth understanding of data warehouse development and working knowledge of Salesforce integration into Snowflake

Ability to translate complex business requirements to technical specifications for IT.

Highly motivated and effective working autonomously and as part of cross-functional teams.

Ability to multi-task across projects while maintaining a high-quality work product.
