Job Description
Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee end-to-end data science projects, ensuring successful implementation and measurable business outcomes.
Develop, deploy, and optimize statistical and machine learning models for significant business impact.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and align data science solutions with business objectives.
Implement and promote MLOps methodologies on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Ensure best practices in version control, build, and release pipelines using tools like Git.
Manage and analyze large datasets, utilizing relational databases and Big Data environments, including Snowflake, to drive insights.
Maintain a high standard of coding proficiency in Python for robust model development and deployment.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or PhD is strongly preferred.
Experience: Over 15 years of demonstrated expertise in a Data Scientist or Statistician role, including leading high-impact projects.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Python programming with extensive experience in implementing MLOps methodologies on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform; cloud certifications are a significant advantage.
Leadership & Mentorship: Proven ability to lead end-to-end data science projects, manage teams, and provide mentorship to junior data scientists to enhance their technical growth.
Data Management & Engineering: Comprehensive experience working with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and Big Data platforms like Snowflake, along with expertise in optimizing data pipelines.
Model Development & Deployment: Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and statistical models that deliver quantifiable business value.
Version Control & Automation: Advanced skills in Git for version control and hands-on experience in implementing and managing build and release pipelines to streamline workflows.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on innovation and efficiency in addressing complex challenges.
Collaboration: Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment.
