Senior SharePoint and Power Automate Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior SharePoint and Power Automate Analyst to join our Federal Consulting practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing, optimizing, and supporting SharePoint environments and automating business processes using Power Automate. This role will require a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to design and implement solutions that streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and enhance business productivity.
Key Responsibilities:

SharePoint Management:
Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and lists to support business operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SharePoint solutions.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training for SharePoint users.
Ensure SharePoint security policies, permissions, and best practices are enforced.
Perform SharePoint migrations and upgrades as necessary.
Power Automate Development:
Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to improve operational efficiency.
Work closely with business teams to identify process automation opportunities and optimize workflows.
Integrate Power Automate solutions with various data sources, applications, and systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams, SQL Server).
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Power Automate flows to ensure smooth operation and meet business requirements.
Document automation processes, workflows, and configuration settings.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Act as a point of contact for SharePoint and Power Automate-related inquiries and escalations.
Work closely with business units, project managers, and IT teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts or team members.
Conduct user training and develop training materials for SharePoint and Power Automate users.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve SharePoint and Power Automate solutions.
Stay updated on Microsoft 365 product features, best practices, and new technologies.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and release management processes to ensure quality standards are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:
5+ years of experience with SharePoint, including SharePoint Online administration, site design, and document management.
3+ years of experience in developing automated workflows using Power Automate (Microsoft Flow).
Experience in integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Power BI, etc.).
Experience with other Microsoft technologies (Azure, Power Apps, Dynamics 365) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, permissions, and best practices for site management.
Proficiency in Power Automate development, including the use of connectors, expressions, and custom connectors.
Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing SharePoint and Power Automate solutions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power BI, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, and integration with third-party tools is beneficial.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identify and resolve issues.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong documentation and training skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker or Power Automate certification.
Microsoft Certified: SharePoint or Microsoft 365 certification.
