Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our team and lead the implementation of a Monte Carlo Data observability solution on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and data observability tools, with a specific focus on Monte Carlo.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement a Monte Carlo Data observability solution on GCP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data observability and data quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
• Proficiency in data observability tools, specifically Monte Carlo.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality management.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other data observability tools such as Databand, Acceldata, or Datafold.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI-powered data observability solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
