Hadoop Developer with Java

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Hadoop Developer With Java to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing big data solutions that leverage the Hadoop ecosystem. You will work closely with data analysts and other developers to ensure that our data infrastructure supports analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies and a passion for working with large datasets.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Hadoop and related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data solutions.
Implement data ingestion processes using tools such as Talend and Shell Scripting.
Optimize performance of existing Hadoop applications and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Work with Apache Hive for querying large datasets and managing metadata.
Design and implement database structures that support analytics and reporting needs.
Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Stay updated on industry trends in big data technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hadoop Developer or similar role in big data environments.
Strong understanding of analytics concepts and linked data principles.
Proficiency in database design, with experience in building robust data warehouses.
Familiarity with AWS services related to big data processing and storage.
Experience with VBA for automation tasks is a plus.
Knowledge of Apache Hive, Talend, Shell Scripting, and other relevant tools is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
