Principal RWD Analyst, Statistical Programming (R & SAS)
Remote, 12-month contract, renewable
The principal RWD analyst will provide programming and analysis support for health economics outcomes research, commercial, and medical affairs by using statistical software (advanced programming capacity in R with proficiency in SAS) to perform data manipulation and conduct queries and analyses consistent with protocols and/or statistical analysis plans related to real world data studies.
Basic Qualifications
A master’s degree in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a subject area with a strong focus on the application of data science to healthcare data with 6+ years of hands-on programming experience; or a PhD with 3+ years of similar experience.
Must have hands-on RWD/RWE experience with data sources such as large-scale administrative claims data (e.g., MarketScan, Optum, Medicare LDS SAF, Komodo claims), and EHR
Advanced programming capacity in R with proficiency in SAS
Hands on CDISC/SDTM/ADaM experience
Database programming using SQL
Assist in development of protocols/analysis plans
Proficiency with common statistical methods, such as survival analysis, generalized linear models
Pharmaceutical industry experience
