Title: Power Platform Developer

Location: Remote on EST or CST time zone

Rate: $53.00 - $80.00/hr

Duration: 6 month contract + extensions up to 2 years

Must Have

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 1-5 years of hands-on development experience with the Microsoft technology stack.

Proficiency in Power Platform: Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Power BI.

Hands-on experience with Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, and Azure SQL.

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot and experience with extending Copilot functionalities using custom workflows and commands.

Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating external data sources.

Knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 services.

Agile Experience: Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Plusses

Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Fundamentals/Developer Associate, or Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of security best practices in application development.

Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models or using Azure Cognitive Services.

Experience developing Copilot Studio customizations or plugins.

Day To Day

Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate,Copilot Studio, Power BI) and Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services).

Build and extend Microsoft 365 Copilot functionalities to create custom workflows, commands, and automations tailored to business needs.

Collaborate with stakeholders and team members in an Agile development environment to define, refine, and implement application requirements.

Create and maintain integrations between various systems and applications using Azure Logic Apps, APIs, and custom connectors.

Develop Copilot extensions to enhance productivity and automation within Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure application quality, security, and performance.

Document technical designs, configurations, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.

Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem, including generative AI and Copilot advancements.
