Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
Design and implement database structures that support efficient data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
Utilize SQL and Apache Hive for querying large datasets and performing complex data analysis.
Create interactive dashboards and reports that provide insights into business performance metrics.
Monitor and optimize the performance of BI applications to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
Implement linked data strategies to enhance data interoperability across systems.
Write shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks related to data processing and reporting.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence technologies.
Skills
Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
Experience with ETL processes and tools for effective data integration.
Familiarity with Apache Hive for big data processing.
Strong understanding of database design principles.
