We are looking for an experienced PMO Planner for a 6-month contract within a complex Digital Transformation Programme. As a key member of the PMO, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive programme plan, establishing robust planning controls, and supporting the operationalisation of these processes. This critical role will ensure alignment, tracking, and delivery of key programme objectives, making you an integral part of our team’s success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive programme plan for a Digital Transformation Programme.
• Establish and implement robust planning controls to ensure successful delivery of the programme.
• Support the operationalisation of planning processes and assist the PMO team in managing the overall portfolio.
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment on programme goals and progress.
• Track key milestones, risks, and issues, providing regular updates to the senior management team.
• Ensure programme objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget.

Experience Required:
• Expertise in planning.
• Proven experience in a senior PMO role, specifically supporting large, complex technology portfolios.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, and Waterfall.

Skills:
• Proficiency in project planning tools such as MS Project and data analysis platforms (Excel, Power BI).
• Problem-solver with the ability to identify and implement solutions for issues as they arise.
• Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle ambiguity and navigate through uncertainty.
• Experience using PPM tools to track and control projects effectively.

Knowledge:
• Advanced understanding of project, programme, and portfolio management frameworks including PRINCE2, MSP, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and financial reporting.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all organisational levels.
• Proficient in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau, delivering high-quality insights and performance reports.
• Skilled at navigating complex organisational structures and fostering alignment across diverse, cross-functional teams.
