Senior Project Manager - Data Warehouse & Reporting

Overview:

We're recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join us for an initial 9 months engagement on a fixed term contract. The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of customer projects and is ultimately responsible for the success of the project. The role is consultancy based for customers on behalf of Bell Integration.

This is a hybrid position - 1-2 day per week in Exeter
Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will be expected to take the lead on the following key activities:

Reporting requirements assessment: Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to assess and document reporting requirements.
Refine solution design and vendor coordination: Work closely with multiple (2-3) technology partners to analyse current solution design, and develop Statements of Work (SoW) from each partner.
Delivery and resource planning: Develop a delivery and resource plan aligned with the overarching programme, covering all phases (assessment, design, build, testing, and phased go-live).
Procurement support: Assist in defining the procurement strategy and managing the procurement process.

Ownership of workstreams:

Billing data extract from Rapid
CRM data extract from MS Dynamics
OwnBackup setup and Salesforce data extract
Salesforce data backup / archival / purge using OwnBackup
Microsoft Fabric design and setup
Establish appropriate security model for solution
Operational Data Store (ODS) design and creation (including data model) on Azure SQL DB; data deletion solution setup in line with retention policies
CRM data load into Azure SQL DB
Billing data load into Azure SQL DB
Salesforce incremental data loads into Azure SQL DB using Azure Data Factory
Data extract from legacy systems merging into Salesforce. ETL to Azure SQL DB
Assessment of reporting requirements
Building reports, testing and transition into support
Impact assessment for phased go-live on Reporting and Cutover Approach workstreams
Qualifications:

Desirable Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Azure Data Warehouse & Reporting - essential
Demonstrated strong leadership, negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Understanding of the characteristics of delivering projects in a consultancy organisation
Demonstrable senior stakeholder management
Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to deliver effective and persuasive presentations to customers
Must have good, organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
Must be capable of handling numerous projects simultaneously.
Professional Services business acumen and commercial acumen.
Understanding of markets, opportunities and competitors as well as business issues and challenges.
Understanding of the sales and delivery process.
Software – MS office, MS Project.
