Overview: Dataflix is looking to hire a PL/SQL programmer with ability to work in a complex data environment and to partner with the business and IT to find creative data solutions to business problems.

Responsibilities:

Using PL/SQL, a programming language for Oracle, create and maintain databases, tables, and other data storage tools.
Tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code to improve database performance.
Plan and implement security measures to protect the database.
Analyze data to support building and modifying reports.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of PL/SQL code.
Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to PL/SQL code.
Develop and provide support to all system interfaces and coordinate with all PMs to provide specifications.
Coordinate with developers, PMs and analyst to prepare designs for new applications and documents all processes.
Analyze and ensure transition of all TDDs. Develop various SQL packages to provide support to all application developers.
Work with employees from other teams and stakeholders to identify the database needs of the company.
Verify converted data with customers and provide support to answer questions and address problems.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

7 plus years of hands on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Hands on experience with Azure.
Highly proficient in RDBMS concepts and Oracle SQL.
Ability to perform in-depth data analysis of production issues.
Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle API’s.
Help determine best design approaches.
Be involved in the planning of system and development, responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
Involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle.
