Manufacturing Data Engineer

This is a contract opportunity for Shrewsbury, UK

Our Shrewsbury based manufacturing client requires a Manufacturing Data Engineer to consolidate data into Power Bi reporting and have an appreciation of SAP as an MRP tool. You will be integrating process and streamlining the working model allowing time saving through efficiencies. A background in manufacturing or automotive is necessary.

As a valued member of the manufacturing engineering team you will liaise across departments, participating in documenting data, ideas, players, stakeholders, and processes. You’ll have excellent understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and handle feedback constructively.

We are looking for three years direct experience of manufacturing data engineering background using Power Bi and practical knowledge of SAP as a materials requirement planning tool.

There will be a move from onsite to hybrid as the system knowledge and bedding in of the successful contractor is achieved.
