Description:

We are seeking a skilled KDB+/Time Series Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team in either Boston or New York. This role is focused on developing, maintaining, and optimizing time-series data platforms to support high-performance data analysis for financial and technical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain KDB+ solutions for time-series data analysis.
• Work on real-time data processing and analytics for large-scale, high-frequency data systems.
• Develop and optimize queries, scripts, and processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that align with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in KDB+ environments.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on time-series data analysis.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with KDB+/Q programming and time-series databases.
• Proven track record of building and managing scalable, high-performance data systems.
• Strong understanding of real-time data processing and analytics workflows.
• Experience in financial services, trading, or other industries with large-scale data is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in working with Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies for data visualization and reporting.
