Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Remote (Client based in Nottingham)
Contract: Inside IR35
Hours/Duration: Full time. 2-3 Month contract with some potential to be extended
Our client who is a global leader for logistics and distribution, is looking for an experienced and versatile Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will assist with the requirements gathering for an internal software development project. Ideally you should have some experience within the logistics sector, with strong technical expertise, be capable of working autonomously, and exhibit leadership when required. You will partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deeply understand business needs and processes, taking a hands-on approach to elicit requirements, technical specifications, and data mapping documents. This is an inside IR35 contract position, which is anticipated to last for 2-3 months, but has some potential to be extended.

This role will be worked remotely.

About You
You should be a passionate and proactive Business Analyst, who has a keen eye for detail and at least 4-5 years of experience within an IT-orientated Business Analyst role. You should also have the following demonstrable experience:
• defining scope, managing change and ensuring the correct level of challenge is made to the business's requirements
• requirements gathering, "As is" and "To Be"
• running one to one client interviews and workshops
• maintaining and creating process flow diagrams, business requirements, and project documentation
• undertaking process and functional efficiency reviews and providing recommendations for improvement
• define and manage business and systems requirements
• producing progress reports
• techniques such as Agile, Lean, SDLC, Kanban
• product Development Lifecycle
• supporting product owners to ensure the end delivery provides organisational value
