We are seeking a talented and driven professional to take a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our clients advanced research ecosystem, comprising diverse datasets, sophisticated processes, and innovative tools. In this dynamic and fast-paced team environment, you will play a critical part in optimizing existing infrastructure while spearheading initiatives to expand capabilities in quality control for assay results, compound data management, and preclinical experimentation.

As a recognized leader in the field, your expertise will shape and refine workflow processes, driving efficiency and accelerating the pace of groundbreaking research. Your contributions will empower our team to achieve exceptional outcomes and push the boundaries of scientific discovery.

What you’ll do:
• Maintain and Enhance Platforms: Oversee and evolve our cutting-edge information platform to support the growing needs of research and development.
• Adopt Emerging Technologies: Leverage the latest advancements to optimize the Design-Make-Test-Analyze (DMTA) cycle and improve efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to understand their objectives and consistently deliver on expectations within established timelines.
• Preclinical Experiment Capture: Drive comprehensive data capture for preclinical studies, including in-house concentration-response assays.
• Data Integrity and Synchronization: Support and improve processes for capturing, synchronizing, and ensuring the integrity of data from generation to consumption.
• Operational Excellence: Utilize tools such as CDD Vault, AWS Glue, Titian Mosaic, Certara D360, Optibrium StarDrop, Schrodinger LiveDesign, and WFI Request/Tracking/KPI systems to uphold operational standards.
• Technical Project Leadership: Lead technical projects involving the BioChemUDM system and AWS infrastructure to achieve project goals effectively.
• Automation and Integration: Automate and integrate infrastructure following the AWS Well-Architected Framework to enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Machine Learning Integration: Collaborate with the HARMONY machine learning team to deploy the latest models within AWS Aurora and integrated vendor applications.

Requirements:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field, with 5–8 years of professional experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Programming Expertise: Proficient in advanced programming, with strong skills in Pipeline Pilot, Python, and Unix shell scripting.
• Cloud Certification: Certified as an AWS Practitioner, Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, and/or DevOps/Developer professional.
• Project Management Certification: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent credential.
