Purpose:

An Enterprise Architect defines the strategic direction for IT systems across the organization, aligning IT strategy with business goals. They look at the enterprise holistically and determine how IT systems, operations, and strategy interrelate. The role involves planning and implementing enterprise analysis, design, and alignment of business processes and IT architecture to achieve strategic objectives.

Main duties:
• An expert in translating the business and client strategy into the Technology and Architecture required to deliver it
• Leading initiatives using project management best practices and industry architecture frameworks
• Developing the company’s strategy technological resources
• Designing, planning, and supervising the overall technology architecture of an organisation
• Acting as an enterprise architect for the enterprise portfolio roadmaps suited to clients needs
• Documenting and improving IT processes, functions, and strategies
• Tracking project progress and ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
• Collaborating with the technical team to design and implement effective technology and data solutions
• Maintaining a security focus and evaluating systems for discrepancies and vulnerabilities
• Prepares As Is, To Be, Gap analysis, SWOT, charts, diagrams, depicting the current and proposed systems in terms of cost, benefits and tasks accomplished
