Description

We are offering a contract for a Data Engineer II position. This role operates in the technology industry, focusing on the design, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. A key part of this role is to ensure the quality of products and procedures through continuous monitoring and development.

Responsibilities
• Analyzing technical products and systems and providing recommendations for improvements.
• Ensuring the quality of products and/or procedures through regular evaluations and alterations.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues.
• Developing and implementing monitoring solutions, as well as performing software maintenance.
• Establishing standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness.
• Utilizing a range of open source technologies and tools to enhance IT operations.
• Automating the deployment of software using tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
• Managing data with an emphasis on automation tools.
• Provisioning and managing applications in both virtual and cloud infrastructures, preferably AWS and Openstack.
• Building strong relationships with QA and Software Engineers to maintain the continuous delivery of critical systems.
• Utilizing Jenkins for continuous integration, and managing revision control systems including branching and tagging strategies using Github.
• Gaining container experience in Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements
• Proven experience in Procedures, Quality, and IT Operations
• Strong background in Design and Supervising
• Ability to manage Production and Troubleshoot issues effectively
• Demonstrable experience in Implementation and Automation
• Solid Engineering skills and understanding of best Practices
• Expertise in Cloud Technologies and use of Monitoring Tools
• Proficient in Coding and using GitHub
• Experience with Deployments and AWS Technologies
• Knowledge of Data Management and Automation Tests
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, and Docker
• Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Kubernetes
