Position Title: Transformation Business Analyst
Duration:9 Months Contract work with possible extension
Work Location: NYC within commuting distance or Charlotte. 3-4 days onsite w/client.

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Identify and document business needs by working closely with stakeholders. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team. Ensure all parties have a common understanding of the project objectives.
• Process Mapping and Documentation: Develop detailed process maps to illustrate current workflows. Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in current processes.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data to understand trends, patterns and issues. Develop reports and dashboards to measure process performance and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Solution Design and Validation: Propose and evaluate solutions to meet business needs. Conduct testing and validation of new processes or systems before full implementation.
• Change Management and Training: Help plan and execute changes in business processes or systems, e.g. due to regulatory change or to improve processes. Create documentation and provide training for end users.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, operations transformation, or project management within financial services industry, preferably with a focus on fixed income and derivatives products.
• Deep understanding of the operational needs in the Fixed Income business and pain points of different asset class segments
• Ability to face off with senior business heads at a strategic level while understanding the detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to review and highlight project risks and issues and partner on mitigating solutions.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the enterprise.
• Ability to conduct presentations with emphasis on story-telling to convey and influence the case for change
