Job Title: StreamSets SME | Cloud & Data Engineering Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled StreamSets Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Cloud applications, Data Ingestion, and Data Lake architecture. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines while ensuring seamless data landing into Snowflake for analytics and reporting. This role demands strong technical proficiency in StreamSets (both cloud and on-prem), infrastructure management, and troubleshooting expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
• StreamSets Expertise: Serve as the go-to SME for StreamSets, managing cloud and on-premise architecture, environment configurations, and deployment models.
• Data Ingestion & Processing: Design and optimize data ingestion workflows into Snowflake to support advanced analytics and reporting.
• Infrastructure & System Management: Install, configure, patch, and maintain StreamSets on-prem runtime instances while ensuring system scalability and reliability.
• Technical Stack Mastery: Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows OS, authentication systems, networking, clustering, load balancers, Java, SSL, and certificate management.
• Production Support & Escalations: Provide L3 escalation support for production environments, resolving critical issues efficiently and ensuring minimal downtime.
• Change Management & Enhancements: Ensure smooth implementation of system enhancements while adhering to business change management processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven expertise in StreamSets (Cloud and On-Prem) with hands-on experience in configuration and administration.
• Strong background in Cloud Data Architecture, Data Lake solutions, and Data Analytics workflows.
• Deep understanding of Snowflake and its integration with data ingestion pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in OS management (Linux/Windows), networking, security, clustering, and infrastructure components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-availability and distributed environments.
• Experience working with SSL, authentication protocols, and certificate management.
• Ability to support L3 escalations and work in a fast-paced, production-critical environment.
