Database Developer

Description

Our client, a dynamic mid-sized organization committed to innovation and growth, is seeking a skilled Data Developer/Analyst to join their data team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing, developing, and analyzing data-driven solutions that will directly impact business decisions.

If you have strong SQL skills, proficiency in Power BI, experience creating dashboards, and expertise in handling integrations with ERP systems, we would love to connect with you!
• Design, build, and maintain data solutions to support business intelligence needs and organizational goals.
• Develop, manage, and optimize SQL queries/stored procedures to extract actionable data insights.
• Utilize Power BI to create compelling and interactive dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and deliver solutions tailored to business needs.
• Handle data integrations between various systems, particularly ERP platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
• Clean, organize, and analyze raw data to troubleshoot discrepancies and increase system efficiencies.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and automate repetitive data tasks.
• Write, maintain, and update technical documentation for all development, reporting, and integration activities.

This is a contract to hire role that is slotted to start in March!

Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Developer, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL development, including advanced query writing, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, with experience creating interactive dashboards and reports.
• Experience managing ERP system data integrations (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms).
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
