Job Description:
We are seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join our Consumer Group & Customer Success team, driving innovative AI and machine learning solutions to enhance and automate business processes. This role focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI, analyzing unstructured text from diverse customer interactions (transcribed calls, chats, digital assistants, community/social posts, etc.) to improve customer experience insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement AI/ML models to extract insights from customer data.
• Design data quality improvement tools and optimize enterprise-wide AI solutions.
• Work with Python, SQL, and Databricks to process data from the data lake.
• Rapidly prototype and deploy AI-driven automation solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership to architect scalable NLP solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong background in algorithms, mathematics, and/or statistics.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, GenAI, Machine Learning (algorithms focus), and Databricks.
• Strong experience with NLP techniques for processing unstructured text.
• Proficiency in AI/ML toolsets (e.g., R, Q, MATLAB, Perl, C++, Java, or similar).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of autonomy.
