Sr. ETL Developer With Database

• Note: First 12+ years of experience candidate then below 12+ years of experience candidate.
• Note: Investment/financial market industry (MUST)
• Note: First USC & GC prefferable.

The Investment Decision Support team is seeking an experienced Senior ETL Developer with strong database, programming, and analytical skills.

Candidates will be onsite Tue, Wed & Thurs Hybrid schedule

Scope

Assist with overall ETL Support (development, production support, documentation) and other development efforts as needed. Activities may include:

·    ETL Production Support – Monitor and maintain existing ETL processes.

·    Code Data Movement - Provide support in the design, development, and implementation of ETL packages with SSIS.

·    Development - SQL Development support to include creation of stored procedures, views, etc.

·    Performance Tuning - Review existing SQL Queries, Execution Plans, Partitions, and Index(s) to determine performance enhancements for long running queries.

·    Data Manipulation - Provide alternative options to existing data manipulation techniques. Examples would be converting Excel manipulation activities into SSIS packages that reduce process/cycle time of data preparation.

Required Skills

·     12+ years of experience in ETL SQL development

·    Experience with SQL Server Integration Services

·    Experience writing technical documentation (requirements, process maps, etc.)

·    Excellent communicator and be able to produce clear and concise documentation

·    Demonstrated experience working in a team environment

·    Demonstrated experience working independently with only high level guidance
