Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension/conversion

Job Overview:

The AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS. This role requires strong expertise in AWS services, database management, API development, serverless computing, and DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, security, and performance optimization while collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless cloud integration.

Candidates need to have:

   • Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and more).

   • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

   • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline).

   • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

   • Experience working with IAM services (AWS IAM, Roles, Policies, Security Groups).

   • Knowledge of security tools and standards (PingID, OIDC, OAuth2.0).

   • Experience with cloud monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).

   • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar.

Key Experience Area:

AWS Database, Data Warehousing & Storage Management:

   • Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable cloud-based databases (AWS RDS).

   • Monitor database performance, implement backup and recovery strategies, and optimize queries.

   • Ensure data integrity and security through encryption and data masking techniques.

   • Design and manage cloud storage solutions (AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage).

API Management:

   • Design, develop, and maintain APIs using best practices (REST, GraphQL).

   • Implement API gateway solutions (AWS API Gateway, Apigee) for security and traffic management.

   • Monitor API performance, usage, and security while implementing authentication and authorization.

AWS Lambda & Serverless Computing:

   • Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda.

   • Integrate Lambda functions with AWS services like S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.

   • Implement event-driven architectures using AWS EventBridge and Amazon SQS.

   • Optimize Lambda functions for performance and cost-efficiency.

   • Monitor and troubleshoot Lambda functions using AWS CloudWatch.

DevOps & Automation:

   • Experience with DevOps tools (AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI/CD, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes).

   • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources.

   • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for cloud resource management.
