AI/ML Engineer
AI/ML Data Science Role
Hybrid role – Onsite in Exton, PA (3 days per week).
Onsite days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
Remote: Wednesday and Friday.
Project Overview
The team has been building AI/ML models and is currently developing new models.
They are finishing a project completed last year, with the goal of:
Finalizing the previous project.
Building a new set of models.
Developing maintenance models.
Current Team & Hiring Need
The team currently has three resources, but they are not satisfactory right now.
They need one individual immediately.
Expectation:
Perform data science work with a strong understanding of AI/ML.
Work alongside a Business Analyst (BA) who will provide necessary data.
Challenge and validate the data being fed into models.
Teach and guide the team on best practices.
Role & Responsibilities
Data Science Dominance:
60-70% of modeling work involves data science (data preparation, validation).
AI/ML complements data science once the data is well-prepared.
Candidates need a data science background with ML expertise to support model development.
Use Case Work:
Understand and analyze business use cases.
Interpret data and explain insights to business users.
Provide an example of a past data analysis case, including:
How they arrived at a conclusion from the data.
How they determined whether the data was sufficient for modeling.
Project Scope
Modeling for the parent company with a focus on customer service.
Data sources include:
Customer service interactions, invoicing data, purchasing orders, and usage data.
Goal: Use this data to predict customer needs in 3-4 months and expand insights across different product lines.
Technical Requirements
Snowflake is the primary data warehouse where all data is deployed.
Front-end work is done on Stream.
Python is commonly used.
Open to strong skill sets in new technologies; Snowflake experience is not a hard requirement but is beneficial.
Cloud experience is not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
