Location: Preferred location is Dallas, TX. Candidates from Jersey City, NJ, or Tampa, FL, will also be considered.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect with expertise in Snowflake and SQL scripting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data architecture, data modeling, and programming, with a focus on optimizing database performance and operationalizing scripts.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and prioritize business use cases, understand business strategies and data sets, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop reusable data models, dashboards, and other data assets.
• Improve the efficiency of data users by building effective solutions and understanding data utilization within the organization.
• Provide end-to-end data architectural expertise for defining and refining RDS data architecture for OLTP, data warehousing, and business analytics solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on programming languages, vendor products, DTCC applications, data structures, and business lines, with a focus on Oracle and Snowflake.
• Design, program, and optimize database objects, including Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
• Develop and operationalize PERL, Python, and Shell scripts to automate various processes, jobs, and program executions.
• Provide Level 3 subject-matter expertise to multiple production applications, ensuring operational support and issue resolution.
• Support multiple production application releases and maintenance windows during off-peak work hours.
• Work with Infrastructure partners to establish development, testing, and production environments.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for implementation across RDS Trade Repositories.
• Integrate risk and control processes into daily activities to monitor and mitigate risks effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in Snowflake (Senior level)
• Strong expertise in SQL scripting (Senior level)
• Python experience (Mid-level)
• Proficiency in Oracle database technologies.
• Experience in designing and implementing OLTP and data warehouse solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling principles.
• Experience with automation scripting using PERL, Python, and Shell.
• Ability to support production environments and handle operational incidents.
• Experience working with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop scalable data solutions.
