Snowflake Data Modeler

Are you a Data Modeling expert with experience in Snowflake, SQL, and ER Studio? Do you excel at designing and optimizing logical and physical data models for analytics and reporting? If so, we want to hear from you! This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud and data technologies, driving ETRM reporting and analytics initiatives for a leading organization in the energy sector.

What You’ll Do:
• Design and refine logical & physical data models for Snowflake
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, ETL/ELT mapping docs, and metadata repositories
• Optimize data structures for analytics & reporting (especially for Power BI)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate modeling requirements
• Analyze semi-structured data (JSON, XML) from various source systems
• Ensure scalability & performance optimization for data models

Must-Have Skills:
• 8+ years of experience required
• Data Modeling (relational & dimensional)
• ER Studio (or similar tools like Lucidchart)
• SQL, Snowflake
• Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure Fabric)
• Power BI Semantic Model Development
• Experience with ETRM reporting and Trellis
