

Service Charge Data Specialist
Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is on a mission to create quality homes and thriving communities. As part of our commitment to financial excellence, we are seeking a Service Charge Data Specialist to join our Finance team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
You'll be based from our Wembley office, and will adopt our hybrid approach working from home, and in the office 2 days per week
The Role:
As a Service Charge Data Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate setup, maintenance, and management of service charge systems.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the service charge module within NEC (housing system), SUN (accounting system), and Integra P2P (purchase order system), ensuring seamless integration and accurate financial data management.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the administrator and gatekeeper of the service charge module
Maintain service charge coding structures to ensure accurate cost apportionment for estates, blocks, and individual properties.
Work closely with IT to manage user access control and support system configurations.
Execute end-to-end service charge estimate and final account processes, ensuring accurate updates to customer accounts.
Collaborate with Development, Sales, Leasehold Specialists, and Finance teams to apply service charges correctly.
Support system projects, upgrades, and process improvements, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and change implementation.
Generate regular reports to support service charge reconciliations.
Train and support service charge officers and other teams on NEC service charge processes.
What We're Looking For:
Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent qualification/experience.
Strong knowledge of service charges and relevant legislation.
Experience in system administration, business analysis, and financial software applications.
Understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping.
Experience working with SUN finance system, NEC housing management system and Integra P2P, or similar systems.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (Intermediate to Advanced), and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and proactively, managing large volumes of data effectively.
Proven ability to collaborate across teams, demonstrating relationship-building and influencing skills
