Senior Test Analyst

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Test Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Microsoft-based applications and systems through thorough testing and analysis. This role requires expertise in testing Microsoft technologies, including Dynamics 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Microsoft-based applications.

Perform functional, regression, system integration, and performance testing.

Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and issue resolution.

Validate business requirements against delivered functionality.

Automate testing processes where possible to improve efficiency and coverage.

Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend improvements.

Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous testing improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Test Analyst with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and Microsoft 365.

Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Azure DevOps Test Plans, Postman).

Understanding of SQL for database validation.

Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
