Summary of the role:

The role of Contract Statistical Programmer is to help with statistical programming tasks associated with all ongoing clinical trials.  The scope includes the creation of CDISC (SDTM and ADaM) data sets; tables, figures, and listings (TFLs) for clinical study reports (CSRs), development safety update reports (DSURs), investigator brochures, etc.; exploratory analyses and outputs for publications and internal data exploration; and listings and other deliverables to assist with data cleaning and review.

In close collaboration with the Associate Director of Statistical Programming, the Head of Biometrics, and clinical trial project team members, the Statistical Programmer will ensure that statistical analyses that support decision-making, publications, study reports, and regulatory submissions are delivered expeditiously and at a consistently high quality.

This is a temporary/contract role with variable hours – part-time to full-time depending on project needs.

Responsibilities:
• Develop SDTM and ADaM data sets according to specifications
• Develop tables, figures, and listings according to table shells and specifications
• Perform ad-hoc analysis requests
• Assist with developing tools such as macros and templates for visualization tools
• Performs quality control of statistical outputs produced by colleagues and vendors as necessary

Qualifications:
• BS degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with SAS® programming
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and planning skills in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects

Nice-to-haves:
• Familiarity with R and/or JMP Clinical
• Familiarity with immuno-oncology and/or cell therapy
• Experience in a start-up environment

This position is for a temporary or contract employee who Caribou Biosciences will not directly employ. Instead, the individual will be an employee of a third-party staffing firm and the Caribou team will manage their work activities. As a temporary/contract employee, you will collaborate closely with Caribou’s internal teams and contribute to our mission while reporting and get supported by the staffing firm.
