

Senior SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Engineer
STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in LA, Atlanta, New York, Raleigh, and more.
Our enterprise solutions team is seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Engineer to join our dynamic team in support of our global Media & Entertainment client. The ideal person on our project will focus on enhancements, customizations, and maintenance of a newly implemented SharePoint Framework (SPFx) environment. In addition to supporting the ongoing nature of enhancements, our engineer will also coach and teach our client's existing engineering team how to effectively use the SPFx framework and best practices to achieving the best outcomes. This project will require deep expertise in SPFx, best practices, and a strong understanding of both classic SharePoint and the new framework's capabilities. The successful person will work closely with multiple teams of engineers that are independently using the new framework across the enterprise. The SharePoint environment supports different groups across a shared O365 tenant and we'll be supporting the teams and engineers across these business units, through the lens of enabling the best out of the new SPFx capabilities.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement enhancements and customizations using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), .NET, JavaScript, APIs, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Gulp.
• Maintain and support existing SharePoint solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Provide training and mentorship to the engineering team on SPFx best practices and usage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of SPFx with classic SharePoint, Office 365, and other enterprise systems.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint, SPFx implementations, REST API, and related technologies.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in SharePoint, SPFx, .NET, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Gulp, and API technologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for SPFx solutions, coding practices, and processes.
• Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
• Utilize PnP (Patterns and Practices) for efficient SharePoint development.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of enterprise development/engineering experience with a focus on SharePoint.
• Extensive experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and its best practices.
• Strong knowledge of classic SharePoint and the differences between classic and modern frameworks.
• Proven ability to enable and integrate SPFx across an organization's infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
• Experience in providing training and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proficiency in .NET, JavaScript, APIs, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Gulp, PowerShell, HTML/CSS, C#, and Azure.
• Experience with Web Parts, Extensions, Client-Side Development, Modern SharePoint, SPQuery, and CAML.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Details
The base pay range for this contract position is $120,000-$135,000/year, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered
