Workday Reporting Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Workday Reporting Analyst to join our HRIS or IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Workday reports and dashboards to support HR, Payroll, Finance, and other business units. You will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data needs, create insightful reports, and ensure data integrity while optimizing reporting capabilities in Workday. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and PRISM Analytics (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

   • Develop & Maintain Workday Reports: Create and enhance Workday Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Custom Reports to meet business needs.

   • Workday PRISM & Dashboards (Preferred): Build PRISM Analytics dashboards and optimize data models for in-depth analytics.

   • Data Analysis & Insights: Provide actionable insights by interpreting HR, payroll, benefits, and financial data from Workday.

   • Report Optimization & Performance Tuning: Ensure reports run efficiently and deliver accurate data with minimal latency.

   • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver solutions.

   • Workday Security & Compliance: Ensure proper security roles and data permissions for report access and maintain compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.

   • Data Integrity & Validation: Perform audits, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and ensure data accuracy across all reports.

   • Training & Documentation: Educate end users on Workday reporting best practices and maintain thorough documentation of reports and dashboards.

Required Qualifications:

   • 2-4 years of experience in Workday reporting, data analysis, or a related HRIS/IT role.

   • Hands-on expertise with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Composite Reports.

   • Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance data structures in Workday.

   • Experience with Excel, SQL, or other data analysis tools for deeper insights.

   • Ability to translate business requirements into effective, user-friendly reports.

   • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

   • Experience with Workday PRISM Analytics and dashboard creation.

   • Knowledge of Workday Security roles as they relate to reporting.

   • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

   • Prior experience in a global enterprise environment with complex data structures.
