The Opportunity: Our client is seeking a Senior SharePoint Engineer / Systems Administrator to design, develop, and maintain secure collaboration solutions within Azure Government. This role plays a critical part in enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and ensuring compliance with stringent DoD security standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint administration, Power Platform tools, and enterprise collaboration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain secure SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI solutions in Azure Government.

Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.

Implement and optimize workflows using Power Automate, PowerApps, custom web parts, and system integrations.

Ensure compliance with DoD security standards and best practices.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while maintaining system documentation and processes.

Stay current with emerging technologies to continuously improve the SharePoint environment.

Manage SharePoint helpdesk tickets and provide user support as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.

Proficiency in Power Automate, PowerApps, PowerShell, and related tools.

Knowledge of DoD security standards and compliance requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Teams administration.
