Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer

We are seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL solutions for large-scale financial industry databases. This role requires expertise in RDBMS, SQL querying, stored procedures, and data analysis, along with hands-on experience in ETL processes and performance tuning. The ideal candidate will work within an Agile team environment, contribute to database modeling, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders. Experience in AWS Cloud, knowledge of financial industry operations, and the ability to adapt to new technologies are highly valued. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for complex databases.
• Perform performance tuning on stored procedures and queries to ensure optimal system performance.
• Develop and manage ETL processes for efficiently handling large data loads.
• Work within an Agile team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Utilize Unix/Linux commands for system integration and automation.
• Contribute to database modeling and data analysis to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively with business and technology partners.
• Adapt to new technologies and improve development processes.
• Work independently to manage challenges across multiple projects.

Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
• Strong expertise in RDBMS, including SQL querying, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, and user privileges.
• Proven experience in performance tuning of SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes (e.g., SQL Loader) for large data migrations.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and basic scripting commands.
• Knowledge of Core Java and Python is a plus.
• Experience in database modeling and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical teams and business partners.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with AWS Cloud services.
• 5+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in Capital Markets or Securities Finance.
• Understanding of financial industry glossaries and terminologies.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools like Control-M.
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
