• Job Description:

This role involves senior-level responsibilities in database administration, software development, and system optimization. The selected candidates will work in a hybrid environment (on-site and telework) and contribute to the development, maintenance, and modernization of Oracle-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases and applications using PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle Forms/Reports.
• Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Reverse engineer, debug, and maintain legacy Oracle applications with limited documentation.
• Develop and support Oracle Web PL/SQL solutions and contribute to data migration projects involving SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Collaborate within Agile project teams, contributing to code reviews, testing, and security best practices.
• Assist in the migration of Oracle Reports to alternative technologies and enhance system functionality.
• Provide after-hours emergency support and assist in database upgrades and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain compliance with state security protocols, version control, and best software development practices.

Required:

7+ years of Oracle database design & development (PL/SQL, SQL, SSL, entity relationship diagramming, table normalization, performance tuning).5+ years of Oracle Forms & Reports development and support.5+ years of Oracle Web PL/SQL experience.5+ years of experience working in a project team environment (Agile Methodology).5+ years of software testing & accessibility compliance experience.5+ years of collaborative team experience with strong interpersonal skills.3+ years of experience with additional databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Preferred:
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple tasks & priorities in a fast-paced environment.3+ years of leading database teams.3+ years of Power BI experience for reporting & data visualization.
