Senior IT Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst. This role will serve as a trusted liaison between business partners and IT teams, driving multiple technology and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong business systems analysis expertise, an enterprise mindset, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT solution/development teams, driving project requirements from initiation to completion.
• Facilitate workshops and storyboarding sessions, translating discussions into documented requirements and design inputs.
• Perform data analysis to assess feasibility and impact of proposed solutions.
• Document business requirements in the form of user stories, business rules, and UX needs.
• Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, including test script creation and facilitation of UAT sessions.
• Analyze and document current and future business processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide training and support to operations teams, assisting with production issue resolution.
• Support knowledge transfer and training initiatives, ensuring smooth user adoption.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and collaboration across business and IT teams.
• Approach projects with a systems-thinking mindset, ensuring scalable and enterprise-level solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• 12+ years of experience in business systems analysis, supporting medium to large-scale projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong expertise in Agile methodology and Scrum teams (Scrum certification is a plus).
• Proven experience in documenting Epics, User Stories, and Spikes using Agile tools like JIRA.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Miro, Jamboard, etc.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience managing high-complexity initiatives.
• Ability to multitask, work in fast-paced environments, and adapt to changing requirements.
• UI/UX design experience related to data dashboard design (preferred).
• IBAA-CBAP certification or similar (a strong plus).
• Advanced experience with data visualization and business intelligence software (ETL, Data Integration, Master Data, QlikView, SAS, etc.) is a major advantage.
• Industry knowledge in Pharma is a plus.
