Senior DevOps Engineer | CI/CD & Automation Specialist (W2 Candidates Only)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in streamlining integration and deployment processes. You will work closely with IT developers, testers, and operations teams to enhance CI/CD workflows, automate infrastructure, and ensure system reliability across various environments. This role requires extensive experience in automation, containerization, cloud platforms, and continuous deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, monitor, and optimize batch jobs and operational workflows.
• Design and implement automation solutions for scalability and recoverability.
• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Liquibase.
• Automate deployments and updates using configuration management tools.
• Support production and non-production environments, ensuring stability and uptime.
• Develop solutions for environment triage support, including on-call responsibilities.
• Provide enterprise-level automation strategies for continuous improvement.
• Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience automating enterprise IT environments using IaC, CaC, and CI/CD tools.
• 10+ years of experience designing scalable automation solutions.
• 10+ years of experience implementing automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• 8+ years of programming/scripting experience (Python, GoLang, Shell, Ruby, Perl).
• 8+ years of experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Helm, Kustomize).
• 8+ years of experience with Linux and Windows OS.
• 8+ years of experience designing cloud solutions following AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, WebSphere, MQ, Oracle, SQL tools, and LDAP.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
