Senior Developer Integrations (Databricks, SQL, Modeling)

We have a client in Sugarland with a contract data integration engineer/developer. They are looking for SQL, Databricks, application integrations and a solid database/warehouse background.

Any experience with Oracle ERP will be a big plus

Hybrid role (3 days onsite)
• Must have experience using the full Databricks solution set - data pipelines, ETL, orchestration, connectivity, etc.
• Must have a solid understanding of data modeling and database/date warehouse design. Ideally looking for a database/data warehouse background that have moved into an application integration role
• Must have experience designing and creating data models
• A lot of reporting data comes from Oracle so knowing the Oracle ERP data model and data schema is very important
• Relevant industry experience (e.g., refining, chemical, manufacturing) is highly preferred because candidates will have an understanding of the data they are working with

The Senior integration Developer is responsible for the design, development, and support of data engineering and data integrations for the company. This position will be responsible for the successful design, development, implementation and maintenance of the application solutions, supporting data and code.

Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain various data and integration technologies to support the organization's business needs.
• Gather requirements, design, and develop new data and integrations or existing code enhancements.
• Help define and determine data and integration direction for the enterprise.
• Work within the IT department to gather requirements and understanding of technical roadmap & strategy.
• Administer security for the integration of applications within the guidelines of IT Security strategy.
