Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL and Reports Developer to join our team in Raleigh, NC, on a one-year hybrid contract. This critical role involves conducting comprehensive business and systems analysis, as well as modeling, design, and programming for the development and maintenance of FNS/SNAP reports, utilizing ORACLE and PL/SQL technologies.

Key Responsibilities
• Gather and thoroughly document requirements for new data extracts and modifications to existing reports.
• Develop advanced queries against substantial tables that include CLOBS/XML.
• Create essential supporting data structures and design effective report layouts.
• Analyze current queries and reports to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and evaluate operational performance metrics and reports to ensure the integrity and quality of data extracts through robust validation and auditing strategies.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support and rotation as required.

Required Skills
• Proficiency in ORACLE and PL/SQL programming languages.
• Strong analytical capabilities for business and systems analysis.
• Experience in crafting complex SQL queries.
• Knowledge of data structures and report layout design.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize existing queries.
• Familiarity with validation and auditing strategies to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in ETL development and report generation in a large-scale environment.
• Proven ability to work efficiently with large datasets and complex queries.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
• Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
