Job Title: Data Scientist - IV
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ | Irvine, CA | Irving, TX (2 days onsite and 3 days Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support AI initiatives for marketing, networking services, and sales. This role will focus on B2B applications, leveraging generative AI and machine learning to drive strategic business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deploy machine learning and statistical models to improve business outcomes.
Work with machine learning engineers to integrate models into production environments (real-time and batch processing).
Engage with business stakeholders to align AI solutions with business strategies.
Analyze, process, and manage large datasets within cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS).
Design and implement language understanding models, supporting generative AI initiatives.
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
Research and implement the latest advancements in machine learning and AI.
Must-Have Skills
Programming: Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Databases: Hands-on experience with Postgres, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
Machine Learning: Strong background in ML techniques, transformer architectures (SLM, LLM, VLM, Embedding Models).
Cloud Platforms: Experience with GCP (preferred), or Azure/AWS.
Development Practices: Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development.
AI Implementation: Experience building LLM-based solutions such as retrieval-augmented generation systems, chatbots, and agentic AI tools.
Preferred Skills
Expertise in API development and containerization (Docker, Podman).
Experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, CloudSQL, Vector Search).
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
Strong problem-solving skills and accountability in independent work.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
If no Master’s degree: 7-10 years of Data Science experience required.
If Master’s/PhD: Experience can be counted towards the requirement.
Interview Process
Round 1: 30-minute phone screen with hiring manager and lead.
Round 2: Two 90-minute technical interviews covering coding and data science.
Round 3: Final panel interview with the team.
