Position Overview
Technova is looking to hire experienced contract Data Engineers with deep expertise in Databricks, Azure, and healthcare data. These are immediate-start contract roles supporting enterprise-level data warehouse (DW) initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of software engineering experience using Spark with Python and SQL
• 8+ years of data engineering experience including ETL and pipeline development
• 6+ years working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure (Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric)
• 2+ years of healthcare data experience
• Experience with data orchestration tools (ADF, Function Apps, DBT, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub)
Preferred Qualifications
• Solid understanding of healthcare concepts (claims, eligibility, benefits, pricing, underwriting, stop-loss, reserves, etc.)
• Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau
• Experience leading teams
• Background in developing processes in collaboration with actuaries or data scientists
