We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team for a long-term contract in Atlanta, GA (hybrid).

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience
• Very Proficient in Teradata SQL and in Excel
• Proficient in python.
• Experience with NodeJs Experience with CloudWatch insights/metrics
• Strong mathematical and statistical skills
• Analytical skills to gather, view and analyze information
• Numerical skills to measure and statistically analyze data
• Technical skills, including software and scripting languages, to organize and present data
• Using the above skills should have ability to review data and to determine how to solve problems using that data, and to learn critical insights about customers. Ability to communicate this information with key stakeholders, including company leadership.

What You Will Be Doing
• Requires Teradata sql queries, Nodejs and python skills to track, analyze and report on critical Sync Seatback operational metrics for different software components within the aircraft.
• Play a leading role on the Enterprise Data Services team, responsible for transforming data from disparate systems to provide insights and analytics for business stakeholders.
• Leverage cloud-based infrastructure to implement technology solutions that are scalable, resilient, and efficient.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, DBAs, cross-functional teams, and business leaders.
• Architect, design, implement and operate data engineering solutions, using Agile methodology, that empower users to make informed business decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a liaison with business users and walk with them through their problems to identify the best path forward.
• Provide technical counsel to other Data Engineers on the team and may be requested to review and guide their work to ensure all the work comes together successfully to meet the business need.
• Deep understanding of the full life data lifecycle and the role that high-quality data plays across applications, machine learning, business analytics, and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to lead and take ownership of assigned technical projects in a fast-paced environment
