About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Regulatory Data Analyst to join the Wealth Management Data Governance Team at a leading financial institution. In this role, you will be responsible for deep data analysis, ensuring accuracy in regulatory reporting, and supporting data governance initiatives. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong SQL, Excel, and data forensics experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct data analysis and data forensics to support regulatory reporting and compliance.
• Work closely with data consumers to enhance reporting processes and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Management teams to understand tools, business needs, and data governance requirements.
• Utilize SQL and Excel to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and contribute to process improvements.
• Support data governance initiatives, with exposure to Collibra (nice to have).

Qualifications & Skills:
• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within financial services.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with data forensics and the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
• Knowledge of financial regulatory reporting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
• Experience with Collibra or other data governance tools is a plus.
