Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Job Type: Contract (6 months)

Location: Hybrid preferred (Tampa, Orlando, Stuart, Miami, West Palm Beach), however there is flexibility for remote

Summary: This position supports our client’s digital transformation, focusing on transferring data from old data systems to new ones. The role involves project planning, mock conversions, and actual data conversion to ensure smooth transitions and data integrity.

Required Work Experience:
• Strong experience with Data Types, Data Structures, & Data Mapping
• Strong experience extracting data from various sources, transforming it into a suitable format or structure, and loading it into a target database or data warehouse for analysis and use.
• Transferring data using SQL commands to copy data from one table to another, ensuring each piece of data goes to the right place.
• Managing, securing, and ensuring the performance, availability, and integrity of databases within an organization.

Nice to have:
• Hands-on ETL experience
• Experience in Fintech or Banking

Responsibilities:

Project Planning (33%)
• Data Mapping, gap analysis, customer experience
• Compare current system to new system and create an execution process

Mock Conversions (33%)

Run test trials on how the data will be converted, identify errors, and refine the process for actual conversion

Actual Conversion (33%)
• Provide production support and validation
• Ensure expected outcomes are produced, remediate issues as needed, and perform light data entry
