Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide data governance and information modeling initiatives. This position plays a key role in enhancing and maintaining data governance systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance the organization’s data-driven capabilities.
As a core member of the Data Services team, you will help shape the client’s enterprise information architecture, enabling better business decisions through structured data governance, quality, and cataloging initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and configure the data management infrastructure including:
• Collibra Data Intelligence Platform
• Collibra Data Quality
• Erwin Data Modeling
• Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Collaborate with the integration department on system integrations and SOA (Service-Oriented Architectures).
• Work closely with the Analytics Center of Excellence to support platforms like Dataiku and the Snowflake repository.
• Lead and execute projects that align with enterprise application roadmaps, major data initiatives, and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Provide consultation on data governance for internal projects and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement workflows, integrations, and solutions that align with business needs.
• Ensure alignment with data governance principles, privacy practices, and information policies.
• Support the data cataloging, modeling, and data quality services across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with Data Architects to integrate Collibra metamodel with other repositories and configure connectors for broader data tool integration.
• Create comprehensive documentation and provide coaching to team members.
• Participate in the Data Stewardship Program and support individual data stewards.
Required Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 10 years of cumulative experience in data analysis, governance, or related fields.
• At least 3 years in professional Data Governance and/or Data Management roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field (preferred).
