• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Worksite Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
• Compensation: $52.00-$56.00 per hour
What you ll do as the Senior Developer Engineer:
• Develop robust, scalable software solutions using Java and Kotlin
• Translate abstract architectural concepts into concrete system designs and implementations
• Collaborate on application architecture and provide feedback on software design and implementation
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment
• Write and maintain efficient, reliable, and reusable code across multiple platforms
• Resolve routine and complex technical issues with minimal assistance
• Apply appropriate software engineering patterns and practices to deliver secure, high-performance applications
• Help triage and troubleshoot operational issues and contribute to the elimination of recurring problems
• Engage in continuous learning and stay up-to-date with evolving technologies
What you ll bring to the Senior Developer Engineer role:
• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot
• Experience with REST APIs, JUnit 5, Kotest, Redis, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and Kafka
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Drone (or comparable platforms)
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalable architecture, and secure coding practices
• Working knowledge of log aggregation tools such as Logstash and Kibana
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a development team
