

Senior Data Analyst
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Personnel Security - Sr. Data Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to Investigate and process financial anomalies.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
• An Active Top-Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an SCI
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CI POLY.
• 11+ years of Security/Data Automation.
• 11+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework
• Bachelor’s degree preferable in a STEM field.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Prepare all applicable filer notifications regarding SFDP to ensure they are provided to the NGA filer at the intervals specified by the program plan.
• Investigate and process Financial Disclosure and Continuous Vetting (CV) cases within the timeframes designated by the SFDP Team Lead for the filing season.
• Accurately assess financial anomalies, unexplained affluence, and derogatory information for security concerns in accordance with Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and Security Executive Agent Directive (SEAD) guidance.
• Prepare annual reports summarizing the findings and lessons learned related to anomalies uncovered, percent compliance, actions taken for non-compliance, and trends in customer feedback.
• Propose process improvements to the Division Chief by leveraging lessons learned.
• Ensure the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) connections from NGA to the Background Information system meet NGA and NIST requirements.
• Coordinate the use of multiple security countermeasures to protect the integrity of information assets and enforce data sensitivity.
• Ensure the user community of this network conforms to all computing standards of NGA.
• Ensure site-to-site VPN tunnels are established based on NGA and DOD requirements for information exchange security.
• Ensure users of the Personnel Security Background Investigation systems protect data in accordance with NGA and DOD policies, standards, regulations, and procedures for the specified systems.
• Ensure investigation operations follow accreditation standards using Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and categorizing methods of High Confidentiality, High Integrity, and Moderate Availability level.
• Implement security controls to protect Background Investigation system(s) against malicious behavior, including intrusion, tampering, and viruses, between the two systems (e.g., Background Investigations System and NGA network).
• Apply the Risk Management Framework to integrate security and risk management activities into the development life cycle.
• Use a risk-based approach to security control selection, considering effectiveness, efficiency, and constraints due to applicable laws, directives, executive orders, policies, standards, or regulations.
• Exhibit clear and concise writing skills and positive, engaging communication skills.
