JOB DESCRIPTION
As a SaaS Cloud Information Security Officer, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust cloud security program, ensuring the protection of SaaS applications and data while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Security Strategy Development:
• 1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud security strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
• 1. Identify and assess cloud security risks and vulnerabilities.
• 1. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards for SaaS environments.
• Security Implementation and Management:
• 1. Implement and manage cloud security controls, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring tools.
• 1. Conduct regular security audits and assessments of SaaS applications and infrastructure.
• 1. Monitor and analyze cloud security logs and events for suspicious activity.
• 1. Respond to and resolve security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Compliance and Governance:
• 1. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
• 1. Maintain documentation and records related to cloud security activities.
• 1. Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and ensure data protection.
• Education and Awareness:
• 1. Educate internal teams on cloud security best practices and risks.
• 1. Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud security threats and technologies.
• 1. Provide guidance and support to other teams on cloud security matters.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of relevant security standards and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a plus
