Role description

The NFL is looking for a Remote Media Operations Associate. In conjunction with daily Remote Operations responsibilities, this position is specifically designed to facilitate unique projects that require a media specialist on/near the shoot location. This position will also lead technical efforts in the building as relating to gear, software, and Remote Media Operations data migration.

Responsibilities

   • Track gear coming in and out of the NFL Films building, including testing equipment and working with Engineering to get replacements if needed.

   • Take lead on equipment maintenance, including assessing gear as it returns to the building and evaluating and fixing troublesome gear as needed.

   • Work with Shipping Department to make sure all equipment is delivered on time and returned after the project is over.

   • Work with Stadium Contacts at all 30 locations to facilitate access for staff and wranglers as needed.

   • Book and confirm Wranglers working each week at shoots/games.

   • Communicate with Media Management to appropriately notify daily expected media deliveries.

   • Document/vault all cards and pertinent information regarding shoot details.

   • Evaluate the specifications of each shoot to determine what RMO workflow best suits the needs of the project and client, considering timing and cost effectiveness.

   • Ingest media cards into designated storage devices for transferring files via VTN workflow.

   • Communicate with director, cinematographer, and production manager on all logistics of the shoot and file delivery.

   • Report all media to the Footage Flow App, which is visible to NFL Films employees.

   • Verify that all media is delivered and accounted for prior to returning camera cards.

   • Remotely support on locations DITs with troubleshooting and media deliveries.

   • Willing to travel and be on call throughout the duration of the shoot.

   • Create, schedule, and continuously update weekly football excel document, which is referenced throughout the NFL season.

   • Take information on weekly football excel doc and add to the NFL Films shoot schedule, informing other employees of Remote Media Operations staff needs and travel requirements.

   • Assess and maintain Remote Media Operations documents, including updating, coding, and creating additional documents to support department efforts as needed.

   • Continuously auditing Remote Media Operations data as new information is added or removed.

   • Inventory, asset tag, and add new equipment to Remote Operations tracking system.

   • Assess NFL schedules and staff with freelancers, depending on project needs and staff availability.

   • Help recruit and train new Wranglers for upcoming football season.

   • Prep OneNote and Teams for upcoming football season as well as maintain documents during the season.

Required Qualifications

   • College degree preferred with a concentration in film/television production

   • Advanced computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

   • Bachelor's Degree

   • Minimum of 4 year's experience in a professional postproduction role

   • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

   • Experience with ShotPut Pro
