Python Developer / Lead

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Houston, TX - Hybrid

Duration: 12+months

Must have skills:
• Python API Development
• Need very strong in Python Coding
• Understanding of multi-process event-driven systems (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)

What We Need From You:
• 5-8 years of experience in developing software solutions with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Microsoft technologies: relevant experience in Azure services (ACR, Azure Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, Vault, Azure SQL server, etc. )
• Would also like to add containerization technologies like Docker and working in virtual environments.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Python, JavaScript.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL DB, Oracle.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure/AWS, GitHub.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, coding, testing, and automation skills.
• Passion for performance, accessibility, and reliability improvements.
• Familiar with DevOps, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
• A solid background in Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and deftness at object-oriented design and systems architecture.

As Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer, we expect you to have proven experience in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivering software products/applications generating business value. They are expected to have continuous improvement mindset, driving value-based process, product/application optimization.

Your further responsibilities include the following.
• Solution consultation and development in accordance with the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices
• Stakeholder Management - Drives a One Team mindset
• Business Intelligence - Understands T&S business domain and impacts of industry movements
• Experience in how distributed asynchronous systems work, how to design them to avoid data conflicts and how to do it all in immutable environments orchestrated across multiple machines.
• We need an object-orientated software professional that ideally has experience using at least one strongly-typed language.
