

Python Developer (Charlotte, Plano)
Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a Python Developer to join their team. As a Python Developer, you will be part of the technology department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Python Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Plano, TX (Hybrid - 3 days Onsite)
What's the Job?
• Analyze, design, develop, enhance, and support applications that integrate with existing business components.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and analyze the potential impact of implementing change requests.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of application and process issues, including problem identification and communication with support teams.
• Regularly communicate work progress with management, identifying issues early and resolving them quickly.
• Gather and interpret data requirements, conduct research and analysis, and develop data sourcing and transaction monitoring solutions.
What's Needed?
• Proficiency in software development using SAS, Teradata, and Unix scripting.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, operational processes, and end-to-end transaction flow.
• Ability to learn business processes and apply that knowledge to assigned tasks.
• Experience in Python, Spark, and Hadoop is preferred.
• Knowledge in the Anti-Money Laundering domain will be an advantage.
